"We're Not Stopping" - Enabling Post Acquisition Customer Care at Scale
Under the client context of "we're not stopping," Active quickly re-engineered its client's customer onboarding and delivery journey and delivered an optimized system architecture for a leading healthcare payment and revenue intelligence provider.
Our PE-backed client is a top revenue intelligence provider in the healthcare services space. They drove over ten acquisitions of various key healthcare payment service providers across a multitude of geographies in under two years, and had no intention of stopping its acquisitive pace. While the resulting market penetration and services coverage was impressive, the end-customer and their needs got lost in the process. The client could no longer deliver on even the most basic brand promise to their customers, dissatisfaction was growing and organizational pain was nearing its break-point.
After completely a thorough discovery in a third of the time it would take a standard top-tier consultancy, Active isolated and aligned the client around the most urgent and achievable customer use cases for immediate improvement and end-customer impact. We next reengineered all of the human workflows to create the desired use-case outcomes and then designed a specific, enterprise-grade technical solution to optimize and integrate the client's systems with the end-customer in mind. Lastly, we designed an advanced yet approachable change management framework for the client teams to adopt and evolve within.
